Sleipner is a world-renowned technology company known for its products that improve safety and comfort in boats.
Sleipner’s Side-Power thrusters provide the most thrust output power (thrust/hp) of any thruster on the market. This is due to the highly engineered hydrodynamic gearleg which provides minimal turbulence and cavitation. The result is more power, less loss, and greater efficiency. Additionally, Sleipner offers a complete hydraulic system to power the thrusters for virtually unlimited run time in harsh environments, as well as CANbus based proportional control systems or on/off control of the thrusters. Sleipner’s thruster systems can be combined with joystick controllers featuring station-holding. Sleipner also produces revolutionary any-speed Vector fin™ stabilizers for vessels between 55 and 160 ft., providing excellent stabilization both underway and at rest.

Whether you work in exposed areas with high waves and strong winds or in more sheltered waters, Dacoma’s novel Airkeel stabilizer will make a difference for your operations. Work- and crewboats up to 30m length equipped with our Airkeel system offer a rock stable and safe platform to work from, even in adverse weather. Stabilization works at all practical boat velocities – also at zero speed.
Due to its buoyancy and due to its ability to laterally shift the buoyancy center, the Airkeel increases cargo and crane capacity of work- and crew boats by a factor of two or more.
This means that even lightweight, and fast vessels of less than 15m length can be equipped with an 8-10 tm crane for cost-optimized fleet operations.
