Seawork celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2024! Over twenty years on, Seawork still provides one of the key international platforms for commercial marine businesses to connect with their customers and discuss innovations and solutions within their respective industries. 

 

VESSSELS AFFLOAT

The purpose-built pontoons, situated right outside the exhibition halls, host over 70 vessels and floating plant, in a real operational environment in one of Europe’s busiest ports. 
 
Vessels at Seawork have immediate access to Southampton Water. With no tidal constraints, approved vessel and floating plant demonstrations are permitted at all times during the exhibition opening hours. 

PAVILLIONS & TRAILS

Dedicated pavilions and trails will make visiting Seawork much easier, as they quickly help to identify exhibitors, conferences and seminars of particular interest. 
 
Trails are highlighted with logos printed on exhibitors’ fascia boards. These exhibitors will also be listed in the printed catalogue, available to collect when you arrive. 
 
Pavilions are a grouping of similar companies placed together at the exhibition.  

  • UDERWATER INTERVENTION PAVILION & DIVEWORK TRAIL - A showcase for the commercial underwater industry, covering all sectors of offshore, inshore and inland activity. This pavilion and trail also includes a DiveTank on the quayside where the latest underwater equipment and services will be demonstrated. 

  • MARINE CIVILS PAVILION & TRAIL - With a big overlap in content and business for companies involved in marine construction, Marine Civils is uniquely positioned to provide an invaluable opportunity to explore these sectors alongside Seawork attendees. 

  • MARINE RENEWABLES TRAIL - This trail of companies are all associated with marine renewable energy and include wind farm service vessels, marine civil engineering companies, professional divers, safety equipment suppliers and many more. 

  • MARITIME TRAINING & CAREERS PAVILION & TRAIL - With a focus on skills and learning, this pavilion and trail gives visitors the chance to explore training employment and education opportunities within the commercial marine sector. 

  • RIBWORK TRAIL - RIBWork is a showcase for RIB designers, builders and operators and those who manufacture and supply equipment to the commercial RIB market. 

  • SUPERYACHT BUILD, REPAIR AND REFIT TRAIL - This trail is ideally positioned to support the requirements of the complexities of superyachts, that require a similar skillset from professionals across vessel and port operations, engineering through to commercial diving. Exhibiting companies offer services in design, propulsion and support.  

  • THE SMI HUB - The Society of Maritime Industries (SMI), the trade association for the UK’s maritime engineering, science and technology community, has partnered with the Seawork Exhibition to offer a showcase for this sector. The newly named SMI Hub is open to all companies and offers exhibition space in the pods with further space in the surrounding area. Each company will benefit from the shared meeting space and planned networking reception.   • WORKBOAT ASSOCIATION PAVILION – The Workboat Association (WA) has partnered with the Seawork Exhibition to offer both members and non-members an opportunity to showcase their businesses.  The WA is the trade, skills and safety standards association for the workboat industry, acting as a crucial point of liaison between its membership and key regulatory and industry bodies. It has also driven the creation of safety, technical and best practice standards, provided a unifying platform for industry lobbying and debate, and delivered industry-recognised training and certification opportunities. UK GOVERNMENT SUPPORT

Every year, Seawork offers a unique service to exhibitors and industry visitors to support business in the UK military and public sectors. This is made possible by the valued participation of representatives from UK Government departments including: National Shipbuilding Office (NSO), Department of Business and Trade DBT, Ministry of Defence (MOD) and The Royal Navy. The UK MoD team covers their intended procurement programme. 
 

INNOVATIONS SHOWCASE

The Innovations Showcase provides visitors with the opportunity to see the latest in equipment, services, projects and vessels that have been introduced to the Commercial Marine market in the last 12 months. 
 

SMALL BUSINESS ENTREPRISE ZONE

An opportunity to access up-and-coming businesses in the commercial marine market. In recent years this area has become synonymous with award winning innovation.  
 

EUROPEAN COMMERCIAL MARINE AWARDS

The prestigious European Commercial Marine Awards (ECMAs), incorporating the Innovation Awards, attracts entries from across Europe, recognising the depth of excellence in the commercial marine industry. The ECMAs celebrate the outstanding individuals and innovative companies that comprise this vibrant and productive industry sector. All awards are open for nominations.
 

CARBOARD BOAT REGATTA

Join us for the Seawork Cardboard Boat Regatta - sponsored by Knighthood Marine taking place on Wednesday 12th June 2024.
