Cowes-based Diverse Marine will build three crew transfer vessels (CTVs) for OEG Marine Services, extending a partnership that began with the delivery of OEG Fulmar in 2025.
The 26m vessels will be delivered in 2027.
“The Chartwell design has performed above expectations, and the quality of the build from Diverse bears testament to us continuing the relationship for a further three vessels," said OEG Marine director Leif Cooper. "These new vessels will help OEG to continue to provide the best service to our clients for 2027 and beyond."
Designed by Hamble-based Chartwell Marine, the vessels will be all be built to the BREVITY SL Class specification, with a load line length of less than 24 metres. All three will be classed by Bureau Veritas and operate under the UK flag.
The first vessel will feature quad Volvo Penta IPS propulsion with Hul Vane transom foils. Diverse Marine says the arrangement is chosen to optimise fuel efficiency when cruising.
Ben Colman, director of Diverse Marine, said: “Our team in Cowes takes great pride in the quality of the vessels we build and the solutions-focused approach we bring to every project. We look forward to continuing our relationship with OEG and delivering these larger craft.”
Andy Page, director of Chartwell Marine, said: “It is great to see the Brevity design continuing to develop through this latest collaboration between OEG and Diverse Marine.
"Innovative vessel design can improve operational efficiency, flexibility and safety in deep-water environments. With AR7 unlocking a new wave of vessel activity and investment, it is vital that we invest in UK supply chains to deliver the next generation of CTVs."
