UK-based Prior Power Solutions has opened a 4,000 sq ft facility that will be dedicated to the engine sales and parts division, freeing up about 2,500 sq ft of workshop space to meet increased global and UK customer demand.
The engine sales and parts division, managed by Stuart Holland, will have a team of 11 people at the new premises.
“As a business, we have grown massively over the past couple of years,” said Holland, adding that head count will increase from around 80 to more than 100.
“The growth has put pressure on space, so when the opportunity arose to move into the Hewett Road facility just around the corner, we seized on it,” he said.
The expansion comes amidst increased activity across wider operations, most notably demand for its nitrogen pumps and power station outage support services.
